BEST WESTERN HOTEL METROPOLI is an enchanting three stars hotel entirely redecorated, only a few steps away from Via Garibaldi, already known as “via Aurea” (Golden Street) just recently listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Facing one of the most fascinating squares in town, it is surrouded by ancient buildings of the XVI Century. BY CAR: coming from the highway, get off at Genova Ovest, continue to the Sopraelevata. At the second exit follow the directions to city centre until the second light and then turn right. Drive up Via XII Ottobre all the way until Piazza Corvetto (a big square with a man on a horse in the middle), go around the statue and go under the tunnel. The first road on the left at the end of the tunnel will lead you straight to Piazza Fontane Marose.
BY TRAIN: Stazione Principe- bus number 34-35 (bus stop exit of the station, get off in Piazza Fontane Marose in front of the hotel).
Stazione Brignole – bus number 18 and 19 (bus stop at the exit of the station, stop in “Piazza Portello”, at about 50 mt from “Piazza Fontane Marose”).
BY PLANE: Cristoforo Colombo Airport – bus number 100 Volabus, stop by arrivals terminal exit; bus stops in Porta Principe Station.
