"I have commented on this hotel before; still maintain’s one of the best value hotels in BKK. Plus points: refurbished; clean; good sized rooms; small personal hotel; location - BTS and subway in easy, close walking distance; convenience - Robinson’s Dept Store and food court across the road; staff are very good; try Soi 23, close by, for loads of good restaurants. Minus – sometimes bit noisy (close to a major intersection on Sukhumvit); Internet services require a review and upgrade of the network. Free wi fi in the lobby often has problems; internet in the room took me hours to get operational on three of the five occasions I stayed there. To be fair to the hotel, they have fixed it on every time – but it was an inconvenience to me. On last visit complained to Amari's GM (this is an Amari Hotel) who promised to get things sorted -- we'll see. Still one of my top hotels in BKK for value and I recommend it. " - richard Lewis

Soi 19 is next to the Asoke Skytrain Station(BTS) and the Sukhumvit Underground Station(MRT). Suwannaphum International Airport is at 30 kilometres and taking only 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel by car.The easiest way from hotel is via the tollway entrance next to soi 1. Then follow Rama 9. Follow Srinakarin. Take the motorway Bangkok-Chonburi (number 7). There are several signs indicating the airport. The way down to the hotel by expressway to Sukhumvit> Exit at North Phloen Chit >Turn on to Sukhumvit Road and follow the numbered soi 19. City Lodge 19 is on the right side 20 meters into Soi 19. |
