"Basic accommodation but we had a good sized room. There was a bit of road noise but not too bad. Food available from the Pineapple Hotel - public bar or bistro (this area used to be pineapple plantations) and a couple of other restaurants. Plenty of fast food options and a 24 hour place back along Main Road towards the Story Bridge. A very easy enjoyable half hour walk to City either along Main Rd/Story Bridge or the Cliffs walk along the Brisbane River to Southbank. WiFi was too overpriced for us which is always disappointing. I wish hotels would list accurate internet details as we choose our hotels based on internet availability." - Michael Weston

"I like the location and the price of this hotel.
I travel a lot and I tried a lot of different hotel. This is my second time stay in this hotel because I was satisfy with my first stay. However, on my the second visit they gave me ground floor room only about 10 metres from the resception and my window is facing the front. Everything was good, only the noise is a little bit too much because my room is very close to the main road and I think there must be a bus stop very close to my room.
Fortunatelly I am not very sensitive to noise, but if you are, make sure you get room that is quite far from the street." - Anonymous
