"The view is excellent, being right on the wharf. The wharf is right next to where the ferries dock and very close to the international shipping arrivals/departures.This is really cool to watch but if you are a light sleeper it can be noisy during the night. "We stayed at the Hilton Apartments which are run by the Hilton Hotel but are not serviced (they do have a mini-bar and tea and coffee making facilities).It was an excellent room with full kitchen and a harbour view. We live in Auckland and booked for a special occasion - it was well worth it. Primo location right on the harbour within easy walking distance to the city…I was very impressed by the level of service. I accidently left my cell phone in the room and staff went to great lengths to help me get it back. Primo location right on the harbour...it was for a special occasion and well worth it.
