The Parnell City Lodge is a unique mix of 22 cosy Edwardian rooms and contemporary and was originally built in 1914 as a Grand gentlemans residence for a local showman. At a much later date it was converted into a travellers accommodation and an apartment wing was added to the complex but the classic features of the historical building have been retained.
The combination of the new and old makes the Parnell City Lodge the perfect place to stay while in Auckland, whether your visit is for business or pleasure. For those busy travellers who would prefer to take advantage of the local restaurants, the Studio Rooms may be the preferred option. For those who like their privacy all the apartments have their own well equipped kitchen and cooking facilities. Taxis cost approximately NZ$45.00 - NZ$60.00
Comming from the North and South: Take exit 429 C (Port) Immediately turn right into Parnel Road. You will find us on the top of the hill on the left side just before the traffic lights.
