"We stayed there for 5 nights. Staff are very helpful, give us a lot of tips on travel, sightseeing and shopping. Local city tours are available from the hotel counter, see what you need before purchasing them. A walk to Grand Bazar is about 15 minutes, but its uphill. The area is quite safe even in the early evenings. The hotel is clean, but rooms, bathrooms are small. Facilities are in good working order, and if it need repairs, the staff is ever willing to help. We give a thumbs up for Adonis for budget travellers. " - Mahmood Nazar Mohamed
"It was not as close to the Blue Mosque as we believed. We had to walk about 20 minutes (about a third of it uphill) to get there. The area of town we were located in, Kumkampi, was a little run down, and while we didn't mind it, I am not sure everyone would.
The owners and staff were very helpful and offered to help us next time we came to the city.
As for the room, it had a telephone, but we could not call outside of the room. The shower is very small. Aside from that, everything was clean.
Breakfast was always great! The food was really nice and the little breakfast spot in the basement was lovely.
We had a good time and I would stay there again!" - Paige Hendrix
"Very friendly small hotel, with very helpful manager and staff." - Anonymous
"Extremely noisy location, no parking at all, very unfriendly staff, very modest breakfast. Rooms were fine when newly decorated, now there is practically no bathroom accessory working properly, TV cables get disconnected etc. The windows are not tights, sealings are loose, noice is terrible. Payment is asked for up-front. Avoid the hotel, Kumkapi area is not what you need to see in Istanbul." - Milen D Angelov
