"The Hotel room was very nice." - Mark Fallon
"The hotel is described as being some distance from Stockholm. I would describe it as quite close to the centre of stockholm. When travelling in a car there is no reason to stay any closer to the centre than this. The hotel has nice very very clean rooms, good service. I came there with my wife as a surprise for her - and she was not dissapointed. We stayed in the room swith a wiev to Millesgarden. Those were nice - but the room with a view over the water costs approx 50 us dollars more - i guess they would be more than worthwhile trying out too. " - Anonymous
"The staff were excellent, being warm, polite and extremely positive.
The location is out of town but the tram, bus and rail service is easily accessible and reasonable. The views from the hotel are spectacular." - Peter Stone
"We have fond memories here. The location may be a few train stops away from the city centre but perched on a hill, the water views and tranquil idlyic setting are worth it. The fast subway connections also make it easy. Eventhough you need to change to an old train to cross the bridge, the little blue carriages are so cute you feel like you are on a ride in Disneyland! However, there is a 10 min uphill trek to the hotel from the quaint train stop so no fun for those with heavy luggage! We had a great time at the Foresta - the counter staff were amazingly friendly, cheerful and helpful (maybe we got them at the right time with the midsummer festivities in the air?), the food we had was superb - we had delicious steaks at the grill restauarant worth the hefty price tag and the inclusive breakfast was nice and sumptuous and the rooms although not posh were modern and welcoming. There are nice touches like the free bikes which you can take to the supermarket down the road." - Anonymous
