"If you need to travel from Hong Kong by the intercity train to Guangzhou, this is an excellent place to stay for the night. It is just about 10 minutes (slow) walk to the railway station. The MTR to the city is also located at the same station.
The room is small, but for a night stay it should be no problem. However, if you are considered large size then you may want to measure up the room before you book. The space in the room is really limited. It needs space for luggage as well. We had one small bag each and there is hardly space to put them.
Cleanliness is excellent." - Yew Kee Leong
"Our room was TINY, there was literally less than a metre around the beds absolutly no space for baggage. It is located quite far from the city, so you need to take taxis each time you need to go anywhere. The air con leaked water onto the floor. We picked this hotel due to the location and price, but I would recommend spending abit more and getting a normal sized room." - Anonymous
"Room 2004 - The rooms are very small, with flat screen TV's, great...but they're set so high on the wall you cannot watch without standing up on th bed! NO tilt angle. The shower was good, aside from missing tiles on the floor, a bit sharp on the feet. The taps in the basin only trickle with water, The internet is only available in the 2sq/M lobby, no chairs etc. We were lucky to find a week 'open connection' from somewhere else, in our room by the window. Service a bit surly, but what can you expect." - Richard Manwaring-White
"Small and compact room, but with nice deco and clean. Walking distance to train station, convenient. Rather noisy early morning." - Anonymous
