MANTRA CROWN TOWERS RESORT SURFERS PARADISE

"The three bedroom apartments were very spacious with units facing the ocean having fabulous views. We were first given an apartment on the 33rd floor which had grubby furnishing and carpets which were in need of replacement. After one night the dishwasher did not work so we were given another apartment on the 29th floor which was much better everything worked. The pools at Crown Towers were wonderful for the kids and the location is excellent. In our group of 14 people everyone enjoyed their stay , but the owners of the apartments need to make sure they keep their apartments up to scratch to ensure they keep their star rating. the room numbers ending with 05 are the ones with direct views of the ocean ie. 2205 2905. These are the ones we had. The apartments have all the necessary equipment required with clean white fluffy towels, great beds, good showers, baths, toiletries, secure parking, but the sunrise and views of the Pacific Ocean are the best. "Convenient (short walk) to beach and main shops. Seems to cater well for young families ie dedicated swimming and play areas. Visitors include a mix of families, singles and couples." - Valarie Sands

"We stay every year at the Crown Towers Resort and have never had any issues with the Resort. However the room we stayed in (1701) had mold and cobwebs on the second bedroom window. The main shower door fittings were covered in mold. The carpet was worn, stained and smelt aweful. Some of the fabric coverings were also torn. Our issues were taken to management who stated that the resort was currently being upgraded and the room would be sorted. Otherwise all other rooms we stayed out were fine. Air conditioning would be nice though." - Anonymous

"Fantastic pool - great for kids. Location is excellent. However, the beds were torture. We stayed for 5 nights and sleeping on the bed was terrible - very uncomfortable. " - Anonymous
