"Very friendly and well priced. Breakfast was fabulous!! The stairs were a bit tough for carrying up suitcases - we were on the second floor, and parking was a problem - we almost got a parking ticket! But a car isn't needed as it is a short sstroll to the centre of town and there seemed to be a good network of buses. I would definately stay there again." - Mary Edwards
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Greenside. The managers were extremely helpful and pleasant, the room was huge, breakfast was tasty and generous and the hotel was a short walk to Princes Street. We would stay there again and recommend it." - jennifer osullivan
"The room offered through the [website] was right at the top (good views) but for a double room was tiny. (It would even have been small for a single). You couldn't get round the bed as it was against a wall. However, the manager/manageress were very good and sorted a better room for the 2nd night. Breakfast OK" - Anonymous
"The new management in this hotel has made a great start. The hotel was clean, nicely appointed and the service was friendly and helpful. I recommend visitors to Edinbough give it a go." - Jackie Robinson
