A short 1 hour drive from Hobart, Hamlet Downs is a picturesque Bed and Breakfast or self-contained facility situated in the picturesque Derwent Valley. We are close to Russell Falls and Mt Field National Park. Lake Pedder and the Styx valley are nearby.
Cottage gardens intermingle with natives that surround the cottage. There is a 1.5 km walking track along our creek and ponds where our platypus, bird life and other wildlife are often seen.
Hamlet Downs offers guests a wonderful environment with four guest bedrooms with views to the gardens. There are no internal shared facilities and each group enjoys their own private suite with separate lounge and dining areas for each suite. Cot subject to availability
Coffee and tea making facilities, minibar, laundry, hairdryers, radios, CD player are also provided.
Light provisions or a fully cooked breakfast is available at extra cost as well as dinner. We use our own home-grown seasonal produce. |
