"This hotel is worth much more than we paid for it. We had a pleasant stay and it is perfectly positioned for the Spice Market and Grand Bazaar etc. Staff helpful and courteous and free Internet made up for average breakfast and cranky lift. "Perfect location. Right in the centre of Istanbul. 10 minutes away from Hagia Sofia and the Grand Bazaar in one direction and 10 minutes away from the Bosphorus and the Galata bridge in the other direction. Incredibably cheap for such a central location and accommodation that I would personally return to.
The hotel is cheap and chearful, with no frills, but at the same time perfectly adequate and clean. Don't expect the Ritz and you will be just fine with this place. The hotel is also situated in the middle of some very nice bohemian back streets that are full of small cafes and restaurants, where people chill out over a book, or a nice meal and a drink at night.
