"The room itself was dark and seemingly uncared for. The idea appeared to be "antique" styling although the overall effect was that it had not been renovated since at least the 1960's" - iain mcallister
"The room we stayed in was partly refurbished and is quite adequate. For a reasonable handy place to stay the Parnell Village Lodge is fine. The bathroom and carpet were new - it was a shame the bed linen wasn't the same. Was good to have parking.

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Location is not in the downtown/harbour area of the city, but is in a prime location if you are into cafes, boutique shopping etc. Bus runs frequently and reliable from outside the Motor Lodge to downtown and other tourist attractions. Great place to go for walks from. Drawback - old building so sound is not muffled at all. Both neighbouring rooms and outside traffic clearly heard in the room. Bed comfortable." - Anonymous

Airport transport: We recommend Super shuttle $25 for 1 person + $5 for each extra, door-to-door service.
Comming from the North and South: Take exit 429 C (Port) Immediately turn right into Parnel Road. You will find us on the top of the hill on the left side just before the traffic lights.
Corner of the second set of traffic lights, St Stephens Ave and Parnell Rd. The right-hand lane allows you to drive straight into our driveway. |
