"The first Townhouse assinged to us was a shamble, the aircond did not work, the place smelled damp and mouldy. We checked in at 1:30 pm on 17th Dec 06 and after fiddling with the single unit aircond for 30 min (meantime we called in the hotel staff who was very helpful and friendly), we went out for lunch. Returning to the Townhouse later in the afternoon, the whole place was depressing, the family miserable. My husband reported to the front desk and the same hotel staff who attended to us earlier on suggested that we moved to another Townhouse which was so much better, with 2 aircond units, one downstairs and one upstairs.
Location wise, Mirambeena is fantastic. Across the road, there is a hugh supermaket. Few steps further down the road, two Chinese restaurants, and the Royal Brunei Airline Office. Very very convenient.
