"The Hotel has a huge lobby and a great coffee house that serves a wide buffet spread. Walking to the famous Patpong bazaar and bars requires about 10 to 15 mins of casual walking.
A word of caution, be way of touts outside the hotel, and anyone that may appear overly friendly in approaching you. Bangkok has a bad reputation for ripping off tourists, especially the GEM scam. Such tricksters may even approach you in and around their famous attractions, even temples. Be warned." - Martin Magmarigen Wong
