"A very shabby room & overpriced for what you get! The room desperately needs updating with "modern amenities" as advertised.
Furniture looked 2nd-hand at best, whilst my bedlinen had holes in it. I asked reception to have the bed remade with fresh linen, but they didn't change it at all they simply remade the bed with the same "holey" sheets.
The air-con was extremely cold & noisy, its temperature was not adjustable, I turned it off in the end. Also there were gaps under the windows which allowed the wind to howl in & whistle away day & night.
I couldn't find the "supplied" hair dryer & there was nothing in the room's amenities book to indicate where it was - I was told by reception to look inside one of the drawers, which I then found in the bedroom bench (not the bathroom) & noted it's base was screwed down tight inside the drawer with a relatively short cord so making it awkward in drying my hair.
Overall not a pleasant stay at all, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone." - Roberta Kelly
"This hotel was nicely located with a very pleasant view. The room was spacious with a good feeling-tone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The level of cleanliness as perhaps sub-standard e.g. some dusty surfaces in the room and especially in the breakfast room." - William Sergeant
