"I can rate the Hotel only as 2 stars. Not knowing the type of rooms being provded, you are at risk. After arriving and seeing the size of the room, and you want it upgraded, it is not being allowed though you want to pay for the upgradation. Room was not locking and alternate room not being given. "the hotel is undergoing a refurbishing. We were treated very well and had a great room at the front, that had already been done. The bathroom is simple, but adequate. Airco is only on or off, but the view on Copacabana is great. I can imagine that rooms in the back aren't very interesting, but ours was spacey, very clean and inexpensive for what we got. "I loved Rio de Janeiro and I had a glad expenrience staying at the Olinda Othon, its close to everything, and the hotel staff are very gentile and amazing, they are always trying to find the way to make ur stay even more pleasent.. the only thing I didnt like was that they didnt have WI FI for notebooks and they had just 2 computers that were very slow and the internet was quite expensive.. Besides that everything was perfect...
I truly recomend Olinda Othon Hotel.
