"Not the best hotel in the world, but if you are looking for a cheap hotel with a good base to explore london, then this is good value for your money. The first room we were given was awfull, dark and tiny looking onto the fire escape, the second room although still small was much brighter with views onto the street. The rooms, although clean were in need of a paint job,as was the whole hotel in general, but the painters were there so i think they are trying to improve on this. The breakfast was very good in continental style, and there was plenty to go round. There is no bar at this hotel so dont expect one.I found the staff to be friendly and helpfull.
On a whole the hotel was ok,but to be honest more like a bed and breakfast than a 3*hotel,if your happy with no frills then im sure you would be fine at this hotel,if you want something a bit special pay the £100 pounds or more per night and go to somewhere else." - joseph sisson
"location is very convenient, room is typically small but clean, just wonder how it is during hot summer monhts as it was quite hot inside the room,no temperature regulating system.breakfast is ok but but could have served diffent variations of food." - nenita cassion
"Good location and value." - Anonymous
"Having booked in advance, I wasn't expected. I had an anxious wait to find out if I actually had a reservation. It was sorted out in about 10 minutes. The room was basic, but very clean and I had no problems with anything in the room.
Breakfast was very basic with little choice of cereals, no cold meats etc, but you could have as much as you wanted.
I would use this hotel again for a short stay in London." - Linda Stone
