"The bed linen was old, worn, stained and discoloured, in fact, on the first night I requested that the linen be changed only to find that the relacement was just as bad.The carpet was old and required cleaning and the bathroom sliding door was not secured at the bottom and simply hung from the runner. There were no handles on the bathrooom door and no hangers for towels etc in the bathrom. The loghting was dim and there was no reading light. Over four nights there was absolutely no service or cleaning carried out. " - Anonymous
"Although the location was great, service was not even slightly friendly and the price you pay for a shoebox size room is questionable!
There was a sign in the room which indicated that the smoke dectector is set off by the shower, so keep the bathroom door closed or you will be liable for a $300 callout fee. That would be fine if there was a door to close.. but the "door" was only a shower curtain!!" - Amanda Petersen
"Very easy to get to from Manly warf. Centrally located and excellent value for money.
The only disadvantages is the big stair case to get to the room (almost equal to a 2nd floor apartment).
And the lack of on site reception (Reception two buildings away).

"a little bit dodgy setup - u turn up on the door and theres is a note telling you to go to another backpackers in manly for reception...so check in is a hassle and unprofessional. its hard to fins a street park for the apartments.
the shower in our room was barely a trickle and very annoying after a long day. also there were dirty towels left hanging in the shower and the bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned

Finding us from the Airport
Sydney Ferries - The easiest way to travel from the city to Manly is by boat. The ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Wharf takes 30 minutes and the Jet Cat 15 minutes. After you get off the ferry, proceed to the pedestrian lights. GO STRAIGHT AHEAD into BELGRAVE ST. Walk 2 sets of lights to find us. It takes about 500 metres. You walk past a park, then a rugby oval & tennis courts on your left. Then, there we are on your RIGHT.
