"Very well placed (if you're spending a few days on Lantau), and the price is very good value. I would strongly suggest eating at the great seafood restaurants nearby rather than at the hotel." - Peter Lawrence
"The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment, even the so-called new-wing (which is about 10-15 years old!) After paying to upgrade the room to get a usable bathroom, we ended up paying the same as we would have paid for a 4-star hotel in Hong Kong." - David Billinghurst
"The decor was rather tired but it looks as if the hotel is about to undergo a big refurbishment. The rooms were serviced daily and the staff were all excellent.
The hotel's location on Lantau is a very pleasant retreat after the crowds and heat of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. We would definitely use this hotel again." - Janette Clark
"You get the best of most things in Mui Wo by staying in this hotel. Just 7 min walk to bus terminal and for certain buses, you just need to walk about 200m to the Mui Wo Market / bus stop. Breakfast is good. The reception staff speaks good English. You can leave your luggage safely there even before check-in or after check-out. Likewise, if you need to check-out and your flight is late in the evening while you still need to do last minute shopping / visiting. If you book early, you can get a cheap rate." - Chuan Ann Phua
