"The hotel advertising is a bit exaggerated. The hotel is not in a 16th century palace: it is a modern building erected above the basement of a 16th century palace. Breakfasts were delightful, served indoors in the basement level or outside in a pleasant garden.
Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
I asked for and received a garrett room with view of sea. " - John Daniel Hoggatt
"Pretty little hotel with friendly staff. We had a double room facing the coutyard and it was lovely. Bathroom was small but adequate. I must warn tho this hotel is on a steep slope so it'll be a challenge for some. Breakfast could be more imaginative but hey...you get what you pay for. Value-for-money." - Anonymous
"Great place and we got Great room with really nice view ... the room number 403. The staff friendly ... and they really be able to help us prepare for our breakfast at 3:30 am because we were there on Ramadhan and we was fasting on vacation." - Mamdoh Yusof
"The hotel is very well located, close to the Sultanahmet Sqaure. All the historical sites are 5 minutes wlaking distance. Furthermore you can commute to other places in Istanbul very easily if you are staying in Sokullu Pasha hotel." - Awais Nasim
