Hotel Information  
Hotel Description:    Thala is built around a beach headland with a voluptuos backdrop of rainforest clad mountains and a spectacular view from the deluxe bungalows. The main lodge and the Ocean View bungalows offer a view of the Coral Sea, while the Deluxe "Eucalypt" bungalows offer mountain and forest views.
The 85 poled timber bungalows are spacious and contain all the comforts needed for a perfect holiday in the tropics. All the bungalows have verandahs high in the canopy of Eucalypt trees, which is perfect for bird and butterfly watching. Paths lead over a gently folding sand dune down the the lodge's private beach frontage and small hidden coves.
The dining room and bar areas are open to allow the cool sea breezes to flow through the building capturing the essence of tropical North Queensland.
We also provide airport transfers at a cost of $30 per person, these must be arranged at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
