"The accomodation and situation was fantastic. The facilities were excellant, private with a beautiful vista. It was very central to everything in the Hunter region. The hosts were very helpful and not inrusive or pushy. A suprise for us was the complimentary continental breakfast and a tri-pack sample of their own wines. this should be mentioned as its not on the itinerary. Thalgara is a small family run vineyard and winery in the heart of Pokolbin in Hunter Valley Wine Country.
We have 6 fully contained Studio Apartments accommodating from 2 to 4 people set above our vineyards with spectacular views over all of the Brokenback Range to the Barrington Tops.

From Sydney travel north on the F3 freeway and exit at the Cessnock and the Vineyards signs.
