"A fantastic place to get away from it all. Owners Phil and Lucy are very helpful and friendly, taking great pride in their vineyard and its facilities. The gardens and vineyards are a pleasure to walk through (or to breakfast in), the pool is fantastic and if after tennis you still have energy you might try the gym! Tranquil Vale provides holiday accommodation with 3 luxury cottages and a working 15 acre vineyard with cellar door based in the Heart of the Lower Hunter Valley.
Located just two hours from Sydney. the Self-Contained Cottages have open log fires, relaxing verandahs, and beautiful views over the lawns and vineyard to hills beyond. Facilities - swimming pool, gym, tennis court, covered BBQ.

From Sydney take the F3 Freeway, follow signs to Maitland travelling west along the New England Highway. Stay on this road passed Maitland for another 12km to the village of Lochinvar. At the western end of Lochinvar turn right and follow the signs to Tranquil Vale; we are 6 km from the highway. |
