"Quite a Nice place but found it difficult with an infant and pram, being put on a 2nd floor apartment with no lifts or ramps, endless staircases.
Possibly this should have been considered when a cot was requested, that a pram would be used.
The $40 per night additional surcharge to secure a ground floor room was probably a bit rich, especially when the place seemed only 1/2 full.
Nice cafe and pizza bar, also nice mini-cinema. Gym average, could spring for better equipment.
Very slippery around tiled pool areas - poor choice in tiles.

Sands Turtle Beach Resort is set in a sub-tropical oasis and just 300 metres to the beach. Truly a home away from home, the resort offers spacious one, two and three bedroom fully self contained apartments with complimentary Austar. All apartments have balconies and terraces that overlook lush tropical greenery and manicured gardens. Sands Turtle Beach Resort has extensive recreational facilities including lagoon & lap swimming pools, spa’s, Putt’n Around Sands* – our 18 hole themed putt putt course, 2 children’s playgrounds, floodlit tennis courts*, gymnasium, games room, walking trails and 9 BBQ areas. For those who prefer a slower pace, soak up the relaxed atmosphere poolside or send the kids to the cinema theatrette. Enjoy a pizza at our Woodfire Pizzeria & Bar or dine in Rainforest café. Our on-site convenience store “Fresh” features a wide range of grocery items and an internet café. Broadband internet access and in-room movies are now available and payable direct.

Sands Turtle Beach Resort requires either a credit card imprint (Visa, Mastercard) upon arrival. If guests don't have a credit card we require 2 forms of identification (1 needs to have a photo) & you will have to pay cash for any incidentals. Check-in is from 2.00pm.
Cancellations, no-shows or departing prior to due date will attract full fees. |
