"This is an excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is out of the way but this was the attraction for most of the guests who, like us, were wanting to chill out. The Mugello is a beautiful area but not crowded out with tourists like Chianti is. The food is very good, if expensive, and they have ane excellent wine list. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with a car who is looking for somewhere different but refined. " - John Hunter
"It is a special hotel that makes your stay a dream!" - miriam tal
"We loved this dream hotel, excellent low key service, very friendly and welcoming, excellent food, wonderful unspoilt area and grounds, fabulous rooms, problem with our internet reservation, but they resolved it, we would definitely go there again. A big thank you to all the staff, and particularly the owner, with a sense of humor." - gabrielle harwood
"We stayed last week at the Villa Capestri for 6 nights with our two daughters and had a wonderful time there. The Villa is beautiful and the personnel is really caring. The only down side would be the restaurant which is not up to the standard of a four-stars hotel and is very expensive in comparison to the villages in town. Also, bear in mind that you are far from everything there and that an hour journey is needed to reach any attraction in Tuscany. Finally, if you are planning to stay there end of October, please note that the heating is only allowed starting on 1st Nov. so you might have some chilly nights before that day!" - Anonymous
