"The Ascot Star was clean and tidy but definately a budget motel. All the units were small and the bathrooms very pokey. Plus the toilet seemed to run all night!" - Anonymous

"Did not have a room available on my arrival. Did not receive my booking although I had my confirmation document with me. Lady at the desk could not care less. Made things difficult. No apologies or compensation.
Shower recess very high with nothing to hold on to. No light or light switches by the bed.
Cleaning ladies come at the door at 8.45 in the morning wanting to do the room. I'd say that some people could be still asleep at that time, especially when you are on holiday!
