"Some areas of potential improvement eg choice of English TV channels = Fashion channel and Business channel. Others were in German, Thai and Italian.
Needs upgrading of DVD options also, as some movies were very old.
The swimming pool was nice but surrounded by trees so sun did not get through.
Staff were very nice, helpful and polite.
My room was just near pool/restuarant and I felt people could look into the room, meaning I needed to close the curtains all the time. One curtain was not wide enough to cover the window, meaning I had feelings of people being able to look in.

"the Club is a very good impressive place, and you can rent DVD's for free. but we had few issues with the place: theres no sidewalk to the beach...
there was always building noises at 7:00 in the morning that kept us from sleeping every day, and the fitness place is not REALLY a fitness place... some REALLY old 3 machines.
but other than that, it is really good place - we stayed in suprior room that was rellay clean and big! worth every bahat " - Anonymous

Club Bamboo is located in the area of Patong Beach, in the island province of Phuket, on the West Cost of Southern Thailand. Once you are in Patong, the resort is easy to find on Soi Na Nai (Na Nai Road), in the beginning of the foothills of the mountains overlooking Patong Beach and a part of Patong Bay. The resort is about 800 meters from the beach, which is a 10 minute stroll or an easy 3 minute drive by the free shuttle service. The hotel is build on a slope in the foothills, on a rise along the old rubber tree and coconut plantations, formerly known as "Na Nai Plantation", with a view over Patong and Patong Bay.
