"The staff were quite helpful but the cleaning needs improvement. We took a 2 bedroom apartment, and cleaning of the common area was not done well. Our shower area did not have a shower curtain!
The other thing, is that when we arrived at the train station (from Wellington), no one seemed to know where the place is. We even asked a bus driver, and it took him quite a while to at least try to tell us its whereabouts. The street name is not clearly visible at the corner of Symmonds street. " - Ma Chona Tiu
"This was a last minute booking
On arrival, 11 to 12 pm the booking had not been sent through to reception. Fortunately the guy on reception still honoured the transaction.
Going into the room.....music was playing and there was concern that someone was already in the room...it was found the alarm clock going.
I went to make a cup of tea before going to bed...and found no regular tea bags.
There was no white pages, only yellow.
I tries to phone someone at 7.30am, foun out could not make any calls.
found out office was not manned until 8am,
person answering the phone could not assist me make a call. He did not have white pages, and ended up using internet to find a phone number for me.
In the end, shop adjoining the apartments allowed me to use their phone.
I have to say I have never stayed in a place before where I was unable to use the phone....being a single person, I find this quite unacceptable, especially in the case of an emergency.

"Basic student accommodation pretending to be a hotel. Our room had no shower head, no TV cable, no electric jug or cups and inadequate bedding on check-in. On asking for extra bedding we were given a duvet with the stains of a hundred student parties. Then again, the price couldn't be beaten and the edge of central city location is useful. " - Anonymous
"No faciltity to sit down to eat even though it had kitchen facilities and was 2 bedroom. Cutlery supply desimated. Bathroom mirror had previous occupants toothpaste waste over it. " - Anonymous
