"Exceptional Service and nice spacious rooms - they really did make Christmas Very Special - it was a big gamble and it paid of really well. The hotel is not in the heart of town, but the closest to the ski fields which was just super. "Coronet Alpine can be difficult to find. Its 7K outside Queenstown on the way to Arrowtown. Looks rather like an Alpine hotel and you expect to find places to park your skis. It got cold at night and we had to ask them to switch the heating back on. Free WiFi in the entrance area. We were there in late September which is obviously off peak. Only 5 rooms occupied and the restaurant closed most of the time. Snacks in the 10 pin bowling area. Good parking, and swimming pool. I'd go there again. Staff helpful. You definitely need a car.
