"Small hotel in good location with daily boat from the port.
Beautifull views from balconied rooms, not so impressive from those at the back of the hotel!" - Anonymous
"We spent a week here in Moniga and the Riva del Sol Hotel and we enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms were very clean, modern and well kept. The services were excellent as was the staff's attitude to helping us each day.
The pool and emmediate areas were always clean and very well run.The pool area was good for all ages and very child friendly. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here for a family with children." - RICHARD PEAKE
"What a wonderful hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we arrived as 23.15 from Bergamo and Mario at the reception called ahead to the local pizzaria to make sure they stayed open for one last order.
Again Mario came to the rescue when we needed a taxi back from Deszenano to the hotel after 12 AM, phoning the local firms until he got us a driver for the 20-minute trip.
Moniga marina is 50 Meters away from the hotel, there are 3 bars, 2 Pizzarias and 1 restaurant in the general area. There are more bars and restaurant in the town of Moniga about 10 minutes walk away (up hill !!). The hotel itself has a restaurant but we did not use it as we tried to get out on the beach as much as possible. The breakfast is standard continental style; there is a small bar in the restaurant/dining room area with outside seating area with views of the lake.
will certainly go back., Moniga is getting a lot of investment in this area, expect it to rise in popularity. " - Anonymous
"THe location of hotel is beautiful and pool was delightful. Breakfast was not inspirational but certainly acceptable and there was daily variation and staff were always happy to make a cappuchino rather than brewed cofffee. The food at night was excellent on the a la carte menu and although slow to arrive was well worth waiting for and well priced for the quality. We thouroughly enyoyed our stay and felt the restaurant staff went the extra mile to help as did the pool attendant." - David pring
