"Friendly and helpful check in. Discounted rate of A$176 (for 'Deluxe Studio')was reasonable for the good sized room and central location. A prime reason for choosing it for us was the 2 minute walk to the Museum station, which is an easy 15 minute train ride to the international airport. (Warning - no obvious lift to platforms and quite a few stairs) We liked: Good sized room; comfortable bed; small kitchenette with jug, toaster and microwave; pleasant outlook over Hyde Park; friendly check in; proximity to station. Downsides: Fairly noisy air conditioning (but easy to switch off;) constant air extraction in bathroom (not sure if this was a fault); slightly dated (though clean) bathroom, with little space to store toilet bags etc; no double glazing, so some traffic noise, particularly the odd siren. Hotel Description:    The Hyde Park Inn is a centrally located hotel offering quality family and corporate accommodation.

Each of the 92 spacious rooms has views of Hyde Park. The hotel is located in the heart of Sydney within walking distance to all major attractions.

All rooms contain a kitchenette (including microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery & crokery) which allows an element of self-catering. A limited number of Deluxe Studios and all our 2 bedroom apartments also offer a cook-top and oven and are perfect for longer stays.

For comfort, friendliness and location, the Hyde Park Inn is the perfect place to stay in Sydney.

The Hyde Park Inn is also pleased to include car parking (please see below for more details), continental breakfast, newspapers and in house movies in all our rates.

The Hotel has a strict NO PARTY policy, and all visitors must leave the hotel by 9.00 pm.

Due to essential maintenance work on our car park lift we regret to advise the car park lift will be out of service for a couple of weeks. Extra staff will be available to assist with entry and exit of car park. The main hotel lift to rooms will still be operating as normal.

Getting There: Located on Elizabeth Street between the cross-streets of Bathurst & Liverpool.

Approx 12 kms north of the Sydney Domestic & International airports.
Shuttle buses are available from the arrivals area and cost approx $10 per person.
The train service will cost approx $12 per person - please alight at Museum Station opposite the Hyde Park Inn.
Taxis are also readily available from the airport.
Check-in Procedure: Photo ID is required on check in. $50 security deposit is required on arrival - this can be paid in cash or credit (refundable upon check-out).
Car Parking: The Hyde Park Inn provides complimentary parking for hotel guests (one car space per booking).Car parking MUST be pre-booked in remarks section! Height restrictions of 1.9m During busy periods we may need to re-direct you to our offsite parking location.Approx-4 minute walk from the hotel. A complimentary pre-paid voucher (valid for unlimited entries & exits) will be supplied if this arrangement is necessary.
