ISA HOTEL ROME

"The Hotel Isa's rooms vary in design according to the floor you are on, but all floors now seem to have been modernised. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was excellent, very modern and trendy. There were no facilities (apart from the rooftop) in the hotel and the Reception always seemed to be too busy to discuss any places to visit etc. However, the roof top breakfast area, and sun terrace were excellent. There was plenty of seating to watch the sunset over St Peters and Vatican City. The breakfast was excellent, there was always a chef on hand to make special coffees and to squeeze fresh orange juice. The waiter was always around topping everything up and cleaning the tables. Both were very friendly and helpful and the choice for breakfast was great, cereals, meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, eggs, fresh croissants, cakes, tea & coffee etc. Also a great location, only 10 minutes walk to the Vatican and about 15 to Piazza Navone." - Sue Pearce

"Very good location just 10mins walk from St Peters and 5 mins walk from the Metro which gets you close to the main sites. We had a comfortable but small room and a good breakfast in a pleasant roof top setting with pleasant cheery staff. We were recommended two local restaurants by the receptionist which were excellent and good value. We would definitely stay here again." - John Sheffield

"The hotel is walking distance from the Lepanto Metro station. It is walking distance to St Peters and to other sites. The breakfast buffet is on the top floor and it is the best we experienced in our travels in Europe made all the more pleasant because of the helpfull staff. The private car service to the airport , is an extra charge but it is an excellent service. I would stay here again. " - Claudio Catalano
