The Kimberley Hotel, cool, elegant and tranquil, yet still retaining much of the frontier character of Old Halls Creek.
The Kimberley Hotel is adjacent to the airport and approximately 500 metres from the Halls Creek Post Office and town centre the Kimberley Hotel has view of the surrounding country side.
An interesting and innovative Kimberley building style of high roofs and wide verandahs is evident as you move into the Kimberley Hotel's spacious interior. Watch for the brahmin-hide facings and the extensive use of exposed jarrah timbers salvaged from the old Fremantle Woolstores.
Halls Creek, the oasis of the Kimberley, sits on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert. It is also the closest town to the Purnululu National Park where you will find the astounding Bungle Bungle massif.
The hotel's 42 roomy and luxurius appointed units, like the main building, have been designed as small station homesteads. Fully airconditioned, serviced and fully self contained , they're surrounded by green lawns. They're all close to the pool and barbeque area. |
