"The service in bar and restaurant was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The hotel is currently undergoing major renovation, which when complete should provide much improved facilities. The chocolates provided with a message explaining what was happening with the renovations was appreciated. Uniquely, The Latimer Hotel has been owned and operated with the same management for over 30 years. The Latimer has maintained the highest of standards in hotel and function facilities and the guests needs have remained our top priority. This emphasis on visitor comfort is also reflected in the warm and friendly service provided by our carefully chosen staff, to ensure our guests stay at The Latimer is always a memorable one.
We have a range of Studio rooms and apartments. Our Restaurant and Espresso Bar Cafe are open every day for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is served in the Espresso Cafe or on the Terrace - Monday to Friday. For our guests use, we have a sauna and exercise room. Within walking distance from the hotel are an Indoor heated swimming pool and fitness/recreation centre, Museum, Art Gallery, Art Centre, Historical Tramway, Botanical Gardens, Casino, Shopping and Cafes.
We also specialise in corporate conferencing and have a selection of rooms to choose from.
