Overlooking Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island and the world famous trout fishing Ohau Channel which meanders into Lake Rotoiti. Just 3 hrs from Auckland Airport, and 20 mintues from Rotorua City, Marama Resort is a welcome retreat from a hectic lifestyle.Units are not serviced on a daily basis but are fully self contained with all the comforts of home, modern conveniences and resort style facilities. Resort facilities include outdoor spa, swimming pool( for summer use), tennis and petanque courts and BBQ areas. Dial-up Internet access in rooms/ Broadband available at Office. |

| Getting There: |
FROM AUCKLAND: Turn left off Highway 5 through Ngongataha and travel 15 kilometres for 20 minutes, along Hamurana Road keeping the lake on your right hand side. The resort is on your right at 1420 Hamurana Road.
FROM TAURANGA and THE COROMANDEL: Travelling down Highway 33, you pass Okere Falls at Lake Rotoiti, keep a lookout for Hamurana Road on your right. If you reach Mourea village, you have gone too far.
FROM THE SOUTH: Approach Rotorua on Highway 5 and follow the signs to Airport, Whakatane and Tauranga along highways 30 and 33 traveling along the east side of Lake Rotorua. When you pass through Mourea Village, turn left into Hamurana Rd.
FROM CENTRAL ROTORUA: Follow the signs to Airport, Whakatane and Tauranga . When you pass through Mourea Village, turn left into Hamurana Rd.
AIRPORT: Head north along highways 30 and 33 traveling along the east side of Lake Rotorua. Turn into Hamurana Rd which is just past the little village of Mourea. |

On arrival at the Resort please check in at Reception. Office hours are from 8am to 6pm 7 days. If arriving outside of these hours please contact the resort on 07 362 4120 to obtain key instructions. |
| Car Parking: |
There are two allocated car parks for every unit. |
| Child Policy: |
Families of all sizes and numbers are welcome. We advise that children between 2 and 6 years only reside in units that are not near the water.
Please note that Guest Registration cannot be completed unless Guests arriving are signed in and credit card details taken for phones and incidental charges. |
