Contemporary Twin/Double Room
The Contemporary Rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard. The modern style mixed with the traditional grandess of the hotel make these rooms outstanding. They are all non-smoking rooms. The room facilities are the same as the standard rooms but also with steam iron & ironing board in the room.

"As I walked into the reception i was somewhat blown away, it is amazing!! and yes i did have to take pictures of it to show my friends!
Reception staff were quick and helpful checking me in, and a porter showed me to my room all the while letting me know that should i require and help finding somewhere to eat, drink etc then they'd be glad to help.
The room was lovely, very tall ceilings and windows to match, although no artwork on the walls. All very clean and shower was also decent!
My only quarm was the price of room service, £10 per person per tray for breakfast in bed (even tho brekkie was incl of price) and £17 for a pizza and garlic bread that was cold.
Also, remember to put your Do Not Disturb sign up as the maids like to come in at 8am as we found out!

"The hotel was beautiful and the staff very helpful although a there were one or two who could have been more cheerful - isn't it always the way! The room was huge and luxurious although a few small touches would have improved it, such as a valance sheet and a clean shower curtain. The restuarant food was wonderful and the only comment here is that the full wine menu was not available although it was a Saturday night. Overall it was lovely stay with lovely food and lovely people in a nice atmosphere. I would recommend it again and indeed would stay here again." - Nicola Foxe
