"Seemed to be alot of rules and regulations (excessive for a motor lodge) that all incurred penalties if you didn't do them. eg dishes to be washed, dried and put away, no slamming of doors in facility etc. Mineral pool towels couldn't be taken to units but unit towels couldn't be taken to pool. Made you abit worried about moving." - Anonymous
"I am of the opinion that the owner is too "protective" over the propertive requiring the guests to observe every "rules". Many "donts" are posted in addition of what that have already been written in the "rules" book. It feels like "staying" in a dorm monitored by a strict school-principal. The heating unit didn't work when we stayed. It is also the motel policy to charge infant as extra person (not a good policy eh?) even though at the end of the day, the owner did let my child of 2 year stayed free." - Anonymous

Recently refurbished units, 10x1 (sleep1-4) self contained units all with kitchen facilities (stove top burners, fridge, microwave), ensuite, lounge/dining areas, phone, fax/free wireless broadband, hair dryer, Sky digital TV, thermal heating, private genuine mineral pool and fresh water spa on site, off street parking, tours and itineraries arranged, pickup/drop off to bus depot and airport available, 3-5 minute walk to town, restaurants, most major attractions within a 5-20 minute radius, 24 hour supermarket directly opposite motel, 3 star plus rating. Our motel is a warm friendly place to stay be it for business, holidaying, or just passing through.

By bus: pickup available from depot by prior arrangement or if walking, head south on same side on street from depot towards McDonalds (set of traffic lights)and Shell service station, motel is directly across from Countdown Supermarket.
By Car: From north, south east or west head to Rotorua city centre and it will bring you to the main street (Fenton Street) where we are located directly opposite Countdown Supermarket |
