Artistic touches add to the warmth and friendliness of the place. Others in my party stayed in much more expensive hotels and were impressed by the sight and feel of the Hotel Rex. "This is a great little hotel: clean, comfortable and full of character. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just one drawback: breakfast, while perfectly adequate, was nothing special and it is served in a tiny room, which means that tables often have to be shared. "The Rex is a great hotel. Our room was spacious and very nicely decorated, as was our bathroom. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to a metro stop, and within 20 mins easy walk of the city centre.
