"I was disappointed to note that the bathroom floor was not cleaned with long hair (I have very little hair and my son has short hair) on the floor when we checked in and it was still there on the second morning, tea bags used on day one were not replaced and we were charged for (but didn't pay for) soft drinks we did not consume.

"This is a lovely period hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the main building and our room was like a suite with a kitchen and a huge living room. Everything you need is in the room from a hairdryer to an iron and ironing board. The only downside we saw was that is was quite a way out of town and you would really need to drive or get a taxi. Would stay here again." - Nicola Whyman
