The award-winning Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa features 329 rooms and is located just a few minutes from the heart of Surfers Paradise. All newly refurbished rooms offer breathtaking views of the Gold Coast Hinterland, Surfers Paradise skyline or Pacific Ocean. A $20 million refurbishment was completed in October 2011 and included upgrades to all conference rooms and facilities on its dedicated events floor, guest rooms, lobby, front entrance area, lagoon pool, a new ‘grab and go’ deli style eatery, Java + and a new interactive restaurant, Citrique. An $8 million aquatic playground forms the centrepiece of the resort and features a cascading waterfall, pools, spas and a spectacular saltwater lagoon where resort guests can swim and snorkel with an array of tropical fish.
