"Cheap and chearful hotel, walking distance from the airport so dont get sucked into taking a cab which drives you across the road, as there is a walkway over the main road and then its a left until you reach the hotel. This Hotel has seen better days, and the beds are not the best, but we have stayed here several times as the location is great if you are coming in late to the local airport and leaving early. Its also around the corner from the ferry and museums and on a Saturday there is a great antiques market nearby. The breakfast is excellent and there is a fridge in the room. The airconditioning is awful, it made such a noise we had to switch it off, and then if still made a noise which was irritating. The windows dont close properly so there is noise from the very busy road outside, but then this is Rio. If you stay for any length of time head for a B&B in Santa Teresa area which is gorgeous, but not as convenient." - Anonymous

Great large room with balcony and service very good and very polite.
