Hotel Information
Hotel Description:    A beautiful building with unique details whose interior reflects the lavish "Mudejar" style and atmosphere. It is fully integrated into the monumental area, formerly the Conventual area of The Trinity. It takes its name from one of the first fortress of Carmona which was witness to the loves of king Pedro I "El Cruel", also where the lover of his father Da.Leonor de Guzman was imprisoned.
The hotel is built in a former area of the "Descalzas Convent" from XVII century which is still occupied by nuns. From the hotel you can enjoy magnificent views of the Carmona lanscape and from some of the rooms you can see the Caves of Batida (an old medieval quarry)

Getting There: Carmona is about 30 km from Seville, on the highway N-IV on its way to Cordoba-Madrid. To get to the hotel Alcazar de la Reina, take the exit that reads "Carmona-Marchena"(you'll to find some exits that only read Carmona). It is the first one coming from Cordoba and the last one coming from Seville. In a few meters as you exit the highway, you will find a hotel sign. Follow it and pass through the "Puerta de Cordoba"(originally a roman gate dating from 1st century B.C.) Go straight and you will arrive at the hotel. Welcome!
