Contempory design with unique design settings. Each of our studio rooms has private bathroom (open-style) with bathtub and shower facilities. The room size ranges from 25 sq.m. to 35 sq.m. Junior Suite
45 sq.m. or larger. A uniquely design room with living area. All junior suites are equipped with a daybed as a standard feature. Daybed can easily be made up as an extra bed at night. "The Amarin is a clean, well run hotel with very friendly staff. The swimming pool is an added bonus as it is about an 800m walk to the beach (hotel do however provide free taxi service to beach and it a fairly pleasant walk despite sometimes busy road). There is a good breakfast with plenty of hot and cold goodies to choose from (Chef's omlettes are very good!)and Lunch Specials are great value with Thai and Western dishes offered e.g Singha beer and club sandwich with chips for 140 baht. Twice nightly transfer service into Chaweng Beach at 100 baht return is also good value though last transport back at 23.00 hrs disappointingly early! Enjoy!!" - Paul Meek


"This is a perfect hotel if you want to get away from the tourist crowds in Chaweng and Lamai (15 to 20 minutes from the hotel and taxis are very cheap). It is a quiet location, although located on the mainroad of Maenam. Not much of a nightlife, but we weren't looking for that anyway. Perfectly friendly staff, very clean rooms and beautifully decorated. We even had a dvd-player and the hotel has a wide choice of dvd's for free tot take your room! The pool is fantastic. Value for money is superb. The hotel will be highly attractive for those young design travellers / executives, who like to have working holidays.

Getting There: By Bangkok Airways, there are as many as 20 flights per day departing from Bangkok to Koh Samui. The hotel is located in Maenam Beach - approx. 15 mins from the airport, 20 mins to Chaweng and 4 mins to the beach. Located on the main road allows the guests to get from one place to the others very easily. Hotel provides free shuttle service to the beach which is only 4-min away. Shuttle to chaweng is provided twice daily during the evening.
Check-in Procedure: Check-in time is at 2 pm. although this can be earlier subject to room availability. Be Yourself! card will be sent to all prospective guests in advance to allow them to be able to choose the size of the pillows, the aroma spa scents in room, the kind of flowers as well as the choice of music they want in their room at no cost!
Car Parking: We provide car parking space on a complimentary basis. Our car parking space is provided on the basement floor.
Child Policy: We can only accept a person at the age of 12 years or younger as a child.
