"This hotel is located in the perfect area for accessing the best known historical sites such as the blue mosque and the ayasofia. Both of these were at the forefront of the spectacular view of the old city from the rooftop terrace.
The hotel is old, but well kept and the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The area is full of character and the narrow streets are a hive of activity with cafes, restaurants and an assortment of shops selling Turkish carpets and every kind of souvenir you could want.

When you leave the airport, look for the Sirkeci sign and turn right. Drive approx. 1km then follow the seaside road for 12 kms. Look for a Sultanahmet sign, turn left and drive 500 meters turn right. Follow the road until tram way. On the first trafik light turn left. Take the next street on the left site. After that take the next street on the left site again until you see the Ambassador Hotel sign.
