"I enjoyed the large spacious room with small kitchenette attached - more space that a normal hotel room. The bathroom was more of an ensuite than bathroom, with shower, not bath. But was sparkling clean. You will need to bring your own shampoos, and washer though. I had a lovely meal in the cafe on the ground floor, and a nice breakfast too. I'll definitely go back there. On the whole, very good value, and easy to walk into town (CBD) from there." - Jan Marshall

The Astor Metropole Best Western has become one of Brisbane's most charming hotel and apartment complexes, tastefully decorated in a style that reflects both the old and new.
A new 15 level tower apartment complex has been added to the original historic Astor Building.
This prime elevated location is a short walk to both the city centre (just 3 blocks to Queen Street!) and adjacent entertainment precincts (in the Valley and at Southbank). Not to mention Suncorp Stadium - just 2 stops away by train or a 15 minute walk if you are feeling energetic. Transport to and from our location is very convenient with an entrance to Central Station just 1 block away.
The complex offers a wide choice of accommodation from the superb Tower Apartments to our Executive Club Apartments (ideal for a special night away!) all with very competitive tariffs.
All Tower apartments include individual non-ducted air conditioning, broadband connection, some with bathtub spa, most with private balconies, almost all with kitchens, TV and free in house movies.

AIRTRAIN - A free one way ticket is available to all Astor Metropole guests! Simply present your confirmation document to the friendly staff at the Airtrain Kiosk at either the domestic or international terminal and they will give you your one-way ticket from the airport to central station. This is a great way to get to the Hotel if you don't have too much luggage. Return Airtrain tickets are available from the Hotel front desk ($12 each).
Taxi - $32 from the airport to Hotel.
We are located just one block from Central Station and Queen Street Mall is just 3 blocks (downhill!). We are short 10min walk to Brisbane's Treasury Casino & 15 to South Bank Parklands. |

Guests are required to present photo ID and their personal credit card at check in to guarantee incidental charges and enable an electronic room key to be cut. Early check-in or late check-out is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. |

Secure covered parking is available subject to availability. Parking - $9/car per day fees payable on check-in. Parking is limited and not guaranteed. In addition to our car park, off street parking (metered 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday) is available nearby in Berry Street. Guests are invited to park on Wickham Terrace in the 2 min loading/set down area in front of hotel while checking in. Reception staff will direct you to the car park entrance after you have checked-in. |

Rates are per room are based on 1 or 2 people on a Queen bed unless otherwise specifically requested. A maximum of three (3) people per room with the additional charge of $25 per night for the extra guest to be paid direct to the Hotel on check-in. Children using a cot stay free.
