Bally's Studio Suites Bangkok

"I've stayed here 4 times over the last 12 months. It's a long way from the main drag (half a klm) which suits me as I really live a quite location. The rooms a larger than average and no longer brand new. I've always found the staff very helpful and welcoming. One of the many things I like about this hotel is that every room has a DVD player and large TV...they lend free DVD's at the front desk 24/7. 2...They always give much more than the minumum of Drinking water, coffee. tea suger, toilet paper, towels, tissues, soap, shampoo, etc...I've never run out of this stuff like I do at most hotels. 3...free high speed internet near the cafe (which saves me several dollars a day) I will be staying here again next time I come to Bangkok. "The staff were very helpful and professional. The free tutk tuk to the local area was also an unexpected bonus. My only negative was that the breakfast (which was included in the cost of the room) was below average (the eggs and bacon were cold on the first morning, there was no bacon on the second or the third day, there were flies on the fruit, etc. The fruit should have been covered to prevent this. And as the restaurant was not that busy, the food could have been cooked to order rather than being allowed to grow cold. We also ate in the hotel twice in the evening and the food was excellent. The restaurant was poorly patronised at night - both times we were the only people eating there and I am sure this had a lot to do with the quality of the breakfasts. If had experienced one of the breakfasts as my first meal there, I would not have spent money there in the evenings. " - Anonymous
