"It was in a good location, and the price was fair for in the city, but I was disappointed that the iron was missing (perhaps stolen) as it was that factor that led me to stay at the Lodge, and I also found all the plates and cups to be filthy. They had everything but detergent in the cupboard, and it showed. Otherwise it was fair, I wouldn't want to stay there longer than a week though." - Samantha Guest
"Badly maintained, dirty accommodation in a good location with poorly maintained street frontage. Bed OK. Potential for improvement good but unlikely.
Poor attention to cleaning. Balcony, sliding door, toaster, jug, shelving, some of the areas not noticed for any attention to hygiene or cleanliness. No batteries in appliances. Ragged, smelly towels, pile of old soap pieces collected in soap holders. Dirty laundry.
