A suggestion to the manager that maybe it could be more economical to have the heaters on some time before the expected arrival of guests as then the room would not be chilly, the heater could operate at a lower and possibly more economic setting and guests would not be using the highest, most expensive setting for a long period to warm up." - Margaret Kobier
"Apparently an older motel off the beaten track but still handy for Kangaroo Flat, Golden Square & central Bendigo & appeared to be well maintained. Biggest beef was inadequacy of lighting near mirrors for applying make-up." - Garry Walker
