The very first reference known to us of this charming hotel is from 1307. Originally the house was called “White Lion”, and was known as a retreat for travellers just outside a city gate now known as The Powder Gate. “White Lion” was a popular place to stay and in the 17th century the son of the Empress Maria Teresa, who later became Emperor Josef II, spent a night in our hotel. The Best Western Meteor Plaza is truly in the heart of Prague - everything you'll want to do - business, leisure, vacation activities - it's all at our door step. Prague's famous attractions such as The Palace Hybernia, the famous Powder Gate and fabulous art nouveau pearl: Municipal House are just 2minutes walk away. You can reach Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square, the legendary Royal Road and other places of interest on foot within a few minutes.All rooms are very well furnished with all amenities including shower and/or bath, WC, hair dryer, satellite/pay TV, wireless high-speed internet access, IDD telephone, personal safe, coffee/tea maker and mini-bar.

How to reach us by car
After getting near PRAHA follow signs "Centrum". Entering the city centre go on street PLZENSKA, which changes its name into KARTOUZSKA after passing hotel Mövenpick. KARTOUZSKA Street brings you to the riverbank.
Cross the river and continue straight on street RESSLOVA, which changes its name into JECNA after a while. At a big cross road of JECNA/LEGEROVA streets turn left into LEGEROVA. At the first exit after Prague Main Train Station go right and underpass the highway. Now you are at crossing UBULHARA, go straight through SENOVAZNE NAMESTI into SENOVAZNA Street. Turn right to SENOVAZNA Street and then take first right directly to HYBERNSKA Street.
If you arrive by plane we will be pleased to arrange a pick up service by our hotel taxi at CZK 680 per car. |
